HSEDS is seeking a mission-driven and motivated individual to join our team as a Client Service Lead. The successful candidate will lead a team to deliver high quality and client-centered employment services to residents in Prince Rupert and surrounding communities.
Main responsibilities are to:
• Provide leadership and support to team of Employment Advisors and Resource Staff to deliver services and meet program requirements
• Ensure team is current and up-to-date on program guidelines, service timelines and data entry
• Maintain a high standard of customer service
• Oversee client and team scheduling and flow for efficiency and meeting service requirements
• Provide initial and ongoing training to team on services, policy and information systems
• Provide employment advising services to a small client load
• Coordinate with other HSEDS departments and organizations to integrate service delivery
• Work with management on processes, quality assurance activities, reporting and data analysis
The successful candidate will bring:
• At minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
• Post-secondary or professional designation in a human service or human resource field
• Experience working with government programs and policy
• Demonstrated experience working in client database systems (ICM an asset)
• Knowledge of labour markets and employment
• Demonstrated success in serving people with barriers
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism
This full time position (35 hours/week) reports to the WorkBC Manager and has a competitive benefit package.
